What is a Confetti Story Kit?
A printable treasure hunt held together by a story. You print the clue cards, hide them around the house, and kids follow rhyming riddles from one hiding spot to the next until they find the treasure at the end.
What is the Quest Master?
A web page that runs in your phone's browser. Scan the QR code on your printed kit and it tells the story with your child's name in it, reads each clue out loud, gives hints when someone gets stuck, and throws a confetti celebration at the finish. There is no app to download, no account and no ads.
What ages are the kits for?
Ages 4 to 8. Younger kids can play with a grown-up reading the clues; older kids can read and race on their own.
How long does setup take?
About 5 minutes. Print, cut, and hide the cards using the hiding spot checklist included in every kit.
Do I need a printer?
Yes, the kits are a PDF you print at home on regular paper or cardstock, US Letter size (8.5 x 11 in). Nothing is shipped.
Can I use my own hiding spots?
Yes. Every kit includes blank clue cards. Write your own riddle, then type it into the Quest Master under Host setup so the phone reads your version.
Do the printed clues work without a phone?
Yes. The Quest Master is a bonus; every clue card works on its own.
Where do I buy the kits?
Kits are sold as instant digital downloads in the Confetti Story Kits shop on Etsy.
Can teachers use Confetti Story Kits in the classroom?
Yes. The hunts build teamwork, close reading, rhyming and problem solving. Hide the cards around the classroom or school, and read the clues together from the board or a phone. Each teacher should buy their own copy.
Do the kits work for groups, scout troops, clubs and libraries?
Yes. Kids can hunt in teams, and leaders can swap in their own hiding spots with the blank clue cards. They work well for scout meetings, after-school programs, kids' clubs, library story time, church kids' programs and holiday events. Please buy one copy per leader or program.
Is this good for homeschool?
Yes. Families and co-ops use the kits as a story-led activity that practices reading, rhyming and logic, and the custom clue cards make it easy to adapt to any home or space.
Can I print a kit more than once?
Yes, print it as often as you like for your own family's celebrations. Please don't share or resell the file.
